New England Patriots VS Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LII

Southwest Turkey Recipe

The Philadelphia Eagles have only reached the Super Bowl two times losing both. The first was on Jan 25, 1981 (Super Bowl XV) to the Oakland Raiders and the second was on Feb 6, 2005 (Super Bowl XXXIX) to the New England Patriots. Who do you think will win this time? In the meantime, here is a good Super Bowl/Tailgate Recipe.

4 Nature’s Own 100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Rolls

1/3 cup salsa

1/4 cup chopped green onions

 1 tsp dried oregano leaves

 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp salt

 1 small ripe avocado, mashed

1 tbsp reduced-fat sour cream

1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

1 tbsp lime juice

4 lettuce leaves

4 tomato slices

1-pound ground turkey breast

Preheat broiler. Combine turkey, salsa, green onions, oregano, cumin and salt in large bowl. Shape into four ½-inch-thick patties. Spray rack of broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray; place patties on rack. Broil, 4 inches from heat source, 4 to 5 minutes per side or until burgers are cooking through. Meanwhile, combine avocado, sour cream, cilantro and lime juice until burgers are cooked through. Meanwhile, combine avocado, sour cream, cilantro and lime juice in medium bowl. Season with salt; set aside. Place lettuce leaf on each roll bottom. Top with burger, tomato slice and avocado mixture. Close sandwiches.
